John McCain insulted the women of America by selecting Sarah Palin as his running mate. Mrs. Palin said in her acceptance speech, "It was rightly noted in Denver this week that Hillary left 18 million cracks in the highest, hardest glass ceiling in America. But it turns out the women of America aren't finished yet, and we can shatter that glass ceiling once and for all."

Let me draw the conclusion for you:
McCain thinks women don't vote on the issues, they vote on gender.

It's no surprise that in America, money talks. I'm not referring to big businesses wheeling and dealing for a better profit margin, or politicians making shady back alley arrangements to line the own pockets. Sure, that stuff happens and it sucks that these groups don't have the Greater Good in mind; but is it their fault? I'm talking about you, me, and the guy next door. We buy the sale items. We clip coupons. We turn the light off when we leave the room. Anything to save a buck.

Today I'll tackle a much lighter topic, but one equally important :) Sure, you could argue that most of the Beach Boys' albums prior to Smiley Smile WERE Brian Wilson solo recordings, but for the sake of accuracy, I'll stick with the name on the album. Here we go!

In the Middle East, The Bahrain World Trade Center is the first building in the world to be powered by wind. I can read the writing on the wall, why can't the United States:

Is no one interested in current events because we are too desensitized? Are we overwhelmed with a barrage of information? Some days I fall into that pit of pessimism without even realizing it!

Just now, I was reading BBC News and among stories of Recessions, Nato, and Zimbabwe's parliament, and I click on a video story titled,
