Is no one interested in current events because we are too desensitized? Are we overwhelmed with a barrage of information? Is the state of current affairs so depressing that we just want to sit back, "vege out' and hope that when we wake up someone will have gotten us out of this mess? Some days I fall into that pit of pessimism without even realizing it!
